Mr.
Temme and Mr. Welker, both teachers here at McKinley, started this
Fishing Adventure several years ago. Through a lot of hard work and
donations this adventure has been a great learning experience for all
who have gone.
The students that go have to
earn it! With McKinley points, good grades and great attitude.
Students are selected and taught a great life skill. They all come back
some wonderful stories.
This past year, Chase
Smith, Gentry Gittings and Mason Marshall were selected. Along with
students we also have staff members who go along to superivse. This
year, Mat Temme, Justin Smith and Bruce Taflingers enjoyed the fruits of
the kids labor with fish dinners!!
So if you are a student at McKinley you can look forward to this adventure also.
